William T. Hudson, M.D.


Dr. Hudson believes in having a patient-directed practice where he tries to meet the needs of each individual patient through open communication, compassion, and patient involvement throughout the entire encounter.  He feels blessed to be in a position to positively impact so many lives each day.  Dr. Hudson strives to treat each patient as he would want his family to be treated.

After growing up in Birmingham, Dr. Hudson attended the University of Alabama where he studied Corporate Finance.  He received his medical degree from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University Of Mississippi Medical Center.  While in residency, he served as an officer for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Hudson has published papers on Cesarean Hysterectomy, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, and preeclampsia.  He has given lectures in the medical community on updates in the management of menopause and on osteoporosis.  His areas of interest include high-risk pregnancy, menopause, and minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Dr. William Hudson is the son of retired Dr. Charles Hudson who practiced Gynecology at St. Vincent’s for several years.  He and his wife, Missy, have four children: Megan, Lauren, Taylor, and Andrew.
